My Future Career.
Nowadays there are many kinds of jobs, so there is a lot of choice out there when you are trying to decide what you want to do. Let's see some careers.
Being an architect is a good career choice if you're creative but have practical side too. While at school, you need to study maths. Art courses in drawing, design and maybe even photography will also be helpful. Added to that, history, English and computer studies will all be needed if you want to do your job well. A qualified architect can design buildings, work as an architectural journalist, or even as an architectural historian.
If you are good at writing and speaking, you might want to think about becoming a journalist. A good education is necessary for this job. At school you will need to be good at English, but as journalists can work in any area, a good general education is important too. Then you should study at university to get a degree in journalism, communications or maybe English. You will also have to think about the area of journalism which interests you.
Are you patient, kind, fair and imaginative? Do you enjoy working with others? If you've answered yes to these questions, you might consider a career as a teacher. To start with, you'll need a good general education, including language, maths and science. Then you'll have to decide whether you want to teach in nursery, primary or secondary schools. Depending on what you choose, you'll have to take specialised courses so that you'll learn how to communicate with children and teenagers and become quilified to teach at the level you've chosen. You will need to take special training courses and may even need to get a second university degree. Teachers usually don't receive very high salaries, but they usually get a lot of satisfaction from their job, which makes it worthwhile.
